Having Post-Partum Hair Loss? Try This!
Monday, March 18, 2019
Five months past delivery and my hair was falling off like crazy. Every time I combed it, no matter how gently with my fingers at times, I was left with a small bunch of hair strands. My hair partings showed so much scalp and I could see my hair strands everywhere around my house, on my clothes, in bath, on my baby (yikes!). Till one day I noticed something very different on my forehead... dozens of thick dark baby hair growing along my hairline, and noticeably in my side partings where I previously had developed bald patches. Now this was very surprising and I had to figure out what change I have recently made in my life.
And that was...these supplements which I had been taking for a week. These Vitabiotics Pregnacare Breastfeeding* tablets/capsules were prescribed (though these are available OTC) to me by my gynaecologist as I was breastfeeding my baby exclusively.
Each pack has 84 capsules/tablets (28 capsules and 56 tablets) that is 28-day supply. You are supposed to take 1 capsule with 2 tablets once daily with your main meal. The capsule contains Omega-3 Fish Oil, DHA and EPA, while the tablet has all the essential micronutrients including Vitamins D, E, K, C, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, Folic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Zinc and other trace elements.
The only down-side of this product is that it gives you cystic acne if you're prone to breakouts (due to Omega 3 Fish Oil).
Have you tried this ever? Please share your post-partum hair loss/re-gain story below. Would love to know!
